Thought I’d finally get around to adding the very first picture I coloured after receiving my first colouring book from my son on my last birthday.  This the first two pages of Lizzie Mary Cullen’s Magical City.  A stylized cityscape of London.  This is the one that kicked off the colouring muse for me and I’ve been stuck on it ever since.  This was coloured in with Faber Castell Polychromos pencils and, with all that detail, more hours then I care to admit to.  Since this one I’ve moved onto using Derwent Inktense pencils in this book because I think they work so well with the subject matter.  I have several others completed from this book which i will give their own post to over the next hour or so.

The full picture in all it’s glory.
